Smart Objects Introduction
Welcome to Photoshop CC Smart Objects. In this course I'm going to cover the benefits and reasons why you would want to use a smart object as well as some best practices and nondestructive workflows. A smart object is a layer that contains data from a raster or vector image and they're designed to preserve image source content and data with all its original characteristics, allowing you to edit the layer without ever impacting the original image data. Using smart objects is an extremely powerful way to work and by the end of this course you'll have a new appreciation for smart objects and new options for working nondestructively.
