With so many Office 365 services available, it is important to plan for the configuration and management of them, and make sure you are familiar with the options you have to ensure every aspect of them is secure.
In this course, Configuring and Securing Office 365 Services, you will be introduced to several powerful services available in your Office 365 tenant. First, you will see implementation and configuration information on Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Flow, PowerApps, and StaffHub. Then, you will explore the Security and Compliance configuration options used to protect your data. Finally, you will learn the configuration and implementation of these services by using both a Graphical User Interface (GUI) and PowerShell. When you are finished with this course, you will have the knowledge needed to implement, configure, and secure your Office 365 content.

Course Overview Hello, and welcome everyone. My name is Brian Alderman, and welcome to my course, Configuring and Securing Office 365 Services. I am a Microsoft MVP, I am an MCT, Microsoft Certified Trainer for more than 21 years, so I've done lots of training. I've authored four books. The last two books were with Microsoft Press on SharePoint administration. I'm a speaker at several SharePoint and Office 365 conferences around the world. I try to do about 15 conferences a year, and I'm a consultant at my own company, called MicroTechPoint. Now Office 365 provides several services to enhance the capabilities of what can be done within it. These services include Microsoft teams, OneDrive for business, staff hug, flow, power apps, and we want to make sure this information is secure, and so we also have a security compliance admin center. So in this course we're going to introduce and explore three primary topics. The first is going to be the implementation and configuration of Microsoft teams, as well as OneDrive for business. We'll also have an introduction and a discussion around flow, PowerApps, and StaffHub, and we'll also take a look at how to use the security and compliance admin center for configuring the security options associated with these services. So by the end of this course you'll have a better understanding on how to secure and configure these services using both the GUI and PowerShell. So before beginning this course you should be familiar with Office 365 and have a trial tenet or some sort of non-production tenet where you have global administration permissions in, so that way you're able to complete the steps that you're going to learn as you go through this course within that tenet. Well, I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn about Office 365 services with the Configuring and Securing Office 365 Services course here at Pluralsight.
